We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Grant Writing Specialist Volunteer to play a crucial role in crafting compelling grant proposals. This volunteer position focuses primarily on the meticulous crafting of grant narratives and applications to secure funding in support of our organization's mission and programs.

What You’ll Do

Grant Proposal Development: Create clear, concise, and persuasive grant narratives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and the specific requirements of each funding opportunity.

Writing Expertise: Demonstrate exceptional writing skills to effectively convey the organization's mission, objectives, and impact to potential grantors.

Grant Application Review: Collaborate with the fundraising team to review and refine grant applications, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and adherence to grant guidelines.

Research Support: Offer writing support for research-driven sections of grant proposals, synthesizing data and information to strengthen the grant narrative.

Document Management: Maintain a well-organized repository of grant-related materials, including templates, past applications, and successful proposals.
Who You are

Proven experience in grant writing or a strong background in professional writing, preferably with experience in nonprofit or fundraising environments.

Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to craft persuasive and compelling narratives tailored to various grant requirements.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free grant proposals within specified deadlines.
